Villa Sivakka is a hideaway cabin in Lapland close to Äkäslompolo village. It is a perfect destination for taking time off to enjoy nature. The new 51 sq m main house, completed in 2015, houses up to seven people. The old cabin next to the lake, built in 1978, has a wood-heated sauna and can sleep another two. It is best suited for 1-2 couples, a family or a small group of friends.

Next to a lake, close to the mountains

Villa Sivakka is close to some of Finlands most beautiful nature areas. It offers visitors world's cleanest air and a quietness that is hard to experience anywhere else. It is a short drive from three major skiing centres, Ylläs, Pallas and Levi.

Experience lapland through all seasons

In wintertime you can enjoy skiing at the resorts closeby or just go for a snow snowshoe walk on the lake. Near the cabin you can experience plenty of activities from Husky rides to cross country skiing. In the evening you can heat up the sauna and go for a dip in the snow.

WELCOME TO LAPLAND

Villa Sivakka is family-owned and run. Our grandparents first built a cabin at Äkäsjärvi in the 1970s and we have been visiting here ever since. We know the area inside out so feel free to ask us anything.
